Chancel Choir
Chancel Choir (high school age and older), rehearses Thursday evenings at 7:30 pm.
The rehearsal year runs from the week after labor Day in September through the first week of June. The Chancel Choir sings a minimum of three Sundays a month during the traditional worship service (9:00 am), and at special services throughout the church year.
Please consider joining this hard working, fun loving group. You do not need to know how to read music, or be able to attend every weekly rehearsal. An anthem is worked on approximately 4-6 weeks before it is presented as our "Gift" in the church service.


Joyful Noise Ringers
Yorkfield Presbyterian's Bell Choir, known as the Joyful Noise Ringers, offers participation to everyone interested.
Rehearsals for the bell choir are held on Monday evenings at 7:00 pm, from September through the first week of June.
The Joyful Noise Ringers ring a minimum of one Sunday a month at the Traditional Worship service (9:00 am) and at special services throughout the church year.
There are no requirements to belong to this energetic group. The ability to read music, and the various bell ringing techniques are easily learned at rehearsals

Messenger
This is the newly named praise band which leads the Contemporary Worship service (11:15 am). Currently consisting of lead and bass guitar, drums, percussion, keyboard and vocals. This band rehearses once a week, typically on Friday or Saturday evening.

How can you participate in Worship?
We are always looking for singers and musicians for the Choir, Handbells, Special Music and Messenger. In addition if you have a passion to plan/design worship, or a gift in the visual arts that can be used in worship, please contact Pastor Mike.
